About

Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by, it’s great to have you here.

I’m Alice I’m passionate about Jesus, children, chocolate, crochet and my husband Joe. Some other facts about me: I love Nando’s so much that Joe and I decided to have it as our wedding breakfast. I’m a real bargain hunter, I love looking around charity and pound shops for a bargain. And have a crazy/cute rabbit called Misses.

Now a little bit about the blog: I started this blog at the end of 2014 as way to try and encourage other Christian women and girls, and have totally fallen in love with blogging. I love finding God in everyday situations, and Disney movies! Something which I reckon my degree in applied theology really helps with.

I absolutely love connecting with my readers/ other blogger so just drop a comment or use to contact me page to get in touch.

P.S. If you are at all interested you can find out why on earth I decided to call my blog Cherry Drop Princess in my very first post, here.

  1. Hi,
Thank you for visiting my blog and following. I followed back.
I have quite a few book reviews on my site (with more to come) and since you are just becoming more interested in Christian fiction books, you might want to check them out.
One of my favorite authors is Karen Kingsbury, but I haven’t reviewed her books. Her Baxter series books are so real and true to life.
Another of Karen’s series (only 2 books, though) is her story of 9/11. You might enjoy them even though you aren’t in the US, they are heart-wrenching and have an interesting premise.
Looking forward to getting to know you better through your blog!
    God’s Blessings!
(Oh, and for some reason, WP isn’t letting me click to like your posts, hopefully, this will be remedied soon.)

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you’ll find my reviews useful in finding good Christian fiction. I include links to USA online retailers in my posts, but hopefully you can also find most of the books in the UK.

  5. Thanks for stopping my blog. It is so nice to learn about you here! It is so good to meet each other through our FaceBook group and then be able to follow each other. I don’t love chocolate but I crochet and our family has a bunny, too. I also enjoy reading Karen Kingsbury books.

I pray that you will be extraordinarily blessed because of your faithfulness in encouraging woman and girls.

  6. I love finding God in everyday situations as well! One of the ways I also like to do it is through Disney movies. There are so many relatable lessons in those movies. I’ve been a Disney fan since I was a little girl.
Which Disney movies are your favorite(s)?

      • One of the core messages I noticed about Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is that the most beautiful part of a person is their heart. Both Belle and the Beast have these opinions of one another and as they get to know each other, their views of each other change. From Belle’s end, it is a bit more obvious how her view of him changes. For the Beast, yes, he found Belle beautiful, but I believe that her character attracted him to her even more.
I believe that we all can apply this practically every day. We should not judge anyone based on their appearance, for their appearance does not reveal to us what is in their hearts. Nor should we judge anyone PERIOD.
What solidifies why we should not judge is because Jesus speaks about how we are not to judge others in Matthew and Luke.
